We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Lucas from Argentina. In this segment, we invite our virtual assistants from all around the world to share their experience of working from home with Job Duck so far.
In this episode, we meet Lucas. He was born and raised in Argentina but recently moved to Mexico. Lucas works with a U.S.-based law firm as an administrative assistant. His official position is “intake coordinator.” Some of his daily tasks include forwarding emails, and creating contacts and spreadsheets. His main task is to receive potential new clients and analyze what their requests are. If the firm can assist with said requirements, Lucas schedules consultations with the attorney. He also manages all the follow-up calls, emails, and appointments afterward.
Lucas shared his experience of finding out about Job Duck. He was looking for online jobs when he noticed a Job Duck advertisement that listed great benefits in its job offer description. He decided to take some time to think about applying. After a month, he was almost sure that the job offer wouldn’t be available anymore since it looked so incredible until he saw the same Facebook advertisement. That was the moment he knew it was a sign for him! He took the chance, applied, and got hired!
“When I lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, whenever I was working in offices, I spent a lot of time traveling from home to the office. That takes a lot out of your day and energy, it was really annoying. Also having to pay for lunch. I really hated that. But being able to work from home, I can manage myself, I know I have enough time to walk my dog and get my breakfast before I sit down and start working at home.” – Lucas from Argentina
Lucas shared that by being able to work from home, he has enough time left to do the things he enjoys the most: recording music and surfing.
“The Job Duck is great. The benefits are good, and the people are loving and caring.” – Lucas from Argentina
