Job Duck is a virtual staffing company that matches candidates to work from home for a single U.S.-based business, usually a law firm.
A Legal Secretary/Assistant is there to make sure all procedures, documents, administrative tasks, and pieces of content for legal cases are where they should be. They are in charge of reviewing, proofreading, organizing, transcribing, and correcting legal documents. Thanks to the legal secretary/assistant, all information relevant to a case is in the designated space and category.
Employees are granted holidays as per the U.S. holiday calendar, as well as paid annual vacation time (10 days of paid vacation in the 1st year — 5 days after trial and 5 days after six months).

Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Communicate with clients and gather necessary documents and information to begin building a case.
- Draft, proofread, and file or send legal documents.
- Manage administrative responsibilities, such as calendar and email management.
- File and maintain electronic documents and records.
- Keep clients informed by maintaining contact and communicating case progress.
- Submit records and documents to respective courthouses.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills.

– Starting pay at $1,200 US Dollars per month;
