Job Duck is a virtual staffing company that matches candidates to work from home for a single U.S.-based business, usually a law firm.
Job Duck is seeking a professional human resources (HR) generalist who can facilitate communication between the Human Resources department and client employees and coordinate human resource activities, such as performance management, leave reporting, and compensation. The HR Generalist will be responsible for keeping a positive work environment for new hires and fostering collaboration while supporting employees.
Employees are granted holidays as per the U.S. holiday calendar, as well as paid annual vacation time (10 days of paid vacation in the 1st year — 5 days after trial and 5 days after six months).

- Coordinating news and information on policy changes, training, growth opportunities, compensation updates, etc.
- Keep up-to-date employee records with hiring, changes in employment status, leaves, or salary raises,
- Following up with candidates regarding their matchmaking process
- Addressing employee relations concerns, complaints, or other employee issues.
- Reviewing employees’ time tracker, and end-of-day reports
- Review employees’ payroll reports
- Plan quarterly and annual performance review sessions.
- Develop and implement HR policies throughout the organization.
- Promptly handling any employment relations issues or queries.
- Conducting onboarding and offboarding
- Coordinating the employee recognition program
- A degree in Human Resources or in any relevant field is preferred but not required.
- Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English (B2, C1, or C2)
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Team management skills.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace.
- Excellent Work under pressure
- Time managing skills

- Your own reliable and updated PC, a headset, and good internet speed(at least 30mb/s).
The schedule is as follows:
Monday to Friday from 8:30 am EST/EDT to 5:30 pm EST/EDT.
– Starting pay at $900 US Dollars per month;
– Holidays as per the U.S. holiday calendar;
– Paid annual vacation time (10 days of paid vacation in the 1st year 5 days after trial and 5 days after six months);
– Permanent home office.
