Job Duck is a virtual staffing company that matches candidates to work from home for a single U.S.-based business, usually a law firm.
The Workday Administrator is responsible for working with the implementation of practical business solutions related to the Workday suite of HCM functions. The ideal candidate must be able to support the management of projects, change requests, activation of workday functionalities, and operational enhancements. Furthermore, they provide project support and respond quickly to changes/requests from the business as they occur.
Employees are granted holidays as per the U.S. holiday calendar, as well as paid annual vacation time (10 days of paid vacation in the 1st year — 5 days after trial and 5 days after six months).

- Handling change requests, projects, explorations, and activations;
- Processing change requests from key stakeholders;
- Evaluating and coordinating impacts on other teams;
- Developing, testing, and deploying the required configuration to meet business requirements;
- Tracking issues, and risks, communicating status, and escalating concerns;
- Managing projects and deployment based on the agreed timeline;
- Documenting all implemented changes;
- Facilitating the transition to business (experience team) if applicable;
- Performing day-to-day support & troubleshooting of any integration failures to third-party vendors and any internal support;
- Integrations of data into and out of Workday;
- Performing configuration changes and data cleanup activities as needed and working closely with HR, and other IT team members on requirements-gathering and project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field;
- Workday HCM Certification;
- At least 2 years of change management and communications (internal or external) experience is required;
- Proficiency in English at an advanced or native level (both written and spoken);
- Background with Workday HCM Core, security, and reporting;
- Functional Support experience;
- Experience in cloud-based Human Resources Management Systems;
- Knowledge of HCM design, structure, functions, and processes;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members to understand and develop technology solutions for business needs;
- Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills with all levels of the organization;
- Presentation skills;
- Ability to work quickly and accurately, especially under pressure; and within a cross-culture and global environment;
- Capacity and eagerness to learn more detailed integration configurations and know or learn how to build new integrations and modify existing integrations as the role evolves;
- Problem-solving and interpersonal skills;
- A developer-like and technical mindset;
- A self-driven and motivated mindset to accomplish goals and fully understand and take ownership of the Workday system;
- Your own reliable and updated PC, a headset, and good internet speed (at least 30mb/s).
The schedule is as follows:
Monday to Friday from 8:30 am EST/EDT to 5:30 pm EST/EDT.
– Starting pay at $2,100 US Dollars per month;
– Holidays as per the U.S. holiday calendar;
– Paid annual vacation time (10 days of paid vacation in the 1st year 5 days after trial and 5 days after six months);
– Permanent home office.
