We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Lorena from Mexico. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Lorena. She applied for the Marketing assistant position, and that’s when she began her incredible journey with Job Duck. Lorena took the time to share a little about her experience during the application process as a candidate.
“I think it’s a good process. It tells you from the very beginning what it is about, what you’re going to do, and how your job is gonna look. It does have a few challenges that you need to go through. I liked that because it means that you (Job Duck) are looking for a detail-oriented person.” – Lorena from Mexico
After successfully completing her application process, Lorena became the Marketing assistant for a U.S.-based law firm. Creating daily posts for the firm’s social media accounts that are marketing-oriented and realistic is one of her main duties. Some of the software she uses for her daily to-dos are Canva for content creation, Wondershare Filmora for video editing, and Hootsuite.
Lorena mentioned that she’s had a wonderful experience since she joined the team. She emphasized the importance of spending time with her young daughter and how working remotely with the U.S.-based team has allowed her to do it.
“This job has actually worked perfectly great for me. I have an amazing boss that lets me have the opportunity of being there for my daughter when she needs me. She understands. This has been quite amazing for me.” – Lorena from Mexico
Lorena describes the overall experience as super positive since the very beginning. From the start, with the help she received from her guide during her application process to her work relationship with her boss and coworkers at the U.S.-based firm, she said the experience has been outstanding.
“It has been the greatest choice that I’ve taken!” – Lorena from Mexico
