In this episode, we meet Lucia, who works remotely from Colombia. Lucia found out about Job Duck through Instagram. Lucia became interested in the position after seeing the ad and reading about it on our website.
Working as a Virtual Assistant
After successfully completing the application process, Lucia became a Virtual Customer Support Specialist for a U.S.-based law firm. She does general administrative work, like managing the calendar and the emails, answering incoming calls, and also assisting the legal team with anything they need. Lucia is also responsible for following up with the clients’ intake process.
During the interview, Lucia was kind enough to share more about her work experience. She had nothing but positive feedback about her day-to-day collaboration with her boss and colleagues in the U.S. Lucia assured her team has been supportive and welcoming.
“It’s been a blessing! The team is awesome. They’re very professional and collaborative. They’ve been very kind and patient with me after not having any legal experience.”
Lucia also shared that she enjoys being able to work from home for a U.S. based firm with Job Duck. Lucia has more time to spend with her beloved pets, organize herself, and do the things she enjoys most with a remote position.
“It’s amazing to be able to work home-based and still feel that I’m part of a great team.”
