Weekly Tea with Tinashe from South Africa!

We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Tinashe from South Africa! In this segment, we invite our virtual assistants from all over the world to share their experience of working from home with Job Duck so far. 

In this episode, we meet Tinashe, who is an IT Junior Developer with Job Duck’s internal team. Tinashe found out about us through a friend that worked with him on their past jobs. They are both still working with Job Duck!

Tinashe’s application process took about 4 weeks in total to set a start date.

“Everything was actually very swift. After doing the tests it didn’t even take that much to get everything set up so I was able to start working. I would say the enrollment process is actually very swift and good. It’s rigorous and very straightforward also.” – Tinashe from South Africa

One of Tinashe’s favorite things about working from home is being able to have a schedule. He works according to Eastern Standard Time, so he has the whole morning to do anything he needs or wants to do, up until quarter to 3 in the afternoon, since he lives in South Africa (SAST). 

When asked about reaching a work-life balance, Tinashe spoke honestly and assured that he absolutely believes he has that with Job Duck, thanks to the convenient schedule. He’s a part-time student, too, so working from home gives him the opportunity to both work and study at the same time without interruptions. 

“Everything is around, so I can easily access my study material, and when it’s time for work I can just put that on the side. Then just switch my mind back to the work mindset. It is quite convenient and I really appreciate such an opportunity, I might say. This is amazing!” – Tinashe from South Africa
