In this episode, we meet Wonder, who works remotely from South Africa. Wonder discovered Job Duck while searching for jobs on LinkedIn. After doing some research on Job Duck, he decided to start his application process.
Wonder was kind enough to share his experience as a candidate during today’s interview.
“It was quite a smooth process. I was always kept well informed. I must say, knowing that I always had a guide I could contact so that I could be kept in the loop, it helped a lot. It was amazing, and an incredible experience to say the least.” – Wonder from South Africa
Wonder applied for the virtual administrative assistant position. He’s now working remotely for a U.S.-based law firm. Some of his daily tasks include handling calls with the existing clients of the firm, and doing reviews on intake and client relation management softwares.
After being asked about the qualifications he believes are necessary for the virtual administrative assistant role, Wonder replied that efficiency, attention to detail, and effective communication are key for this home based job.
“Attention to detail is really crucial because you’re dealing with clients here. When they need information, it needs to be information that represents the firm well. At the same time, you need to be able to communicate effectively. And don’t forget the important one: just be incredible!” – Wonder from South Africa
The interview concluded with Wonder sharing a few words regarding the positive work experience he’s enjoyed working with Job Duck since he first started his job.
