We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Sophia from Mexico. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Sophia, who works remotely from Mexico. Sophia found out about Job Duck through LinkedIn. After ensuring she met the requirements for the position and going through the benefits, Sophia decided to apply. She had a positive experience throughout the application process. Sophia assured me she had never been in a similar exciting process before.
“I had the opportunity to talk not only about my professional experience but also about myself and what are my dreams, goals, and the things that I like to do. Since the beginning of the process, the Job Duck team was very interested in knowing me in order to match me with the ideal team for me, and it worked! I’m very grateful for that.” – Sophia from Mexico
Working as a Virtual Assistant
After successfully completing the application process, Sophia became the virtual marketing assistant of a U.S.-based team. Some of her daily tasks include community management, creating the editorial calendar, graphic design, and copywriting. Besides updating the website content, Sophia also manages email and advertising campaigns.
Basically, Sophia’s role is to create engaging content to increase brand recognition for Job Duck, which is the goal of all virtual marketing assistants.
“This has given me the opportunity to grow not only on the professional side but also on the personal side. Every day I talk and work with people from other countries, and I can learn about the way they do things. For me, that’s amazing!” – Sophia from Mexico
Before the interview finished, Sophia took the time to recommend everyone looking for a work-life balance to apply for the available career opportunities with Job Duck.
