We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Andrik from Honduras. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Andrik, who works remotely from Honduras. Andrik is part of Job Duck’s internal Screeners team. As a screener, Andrik and his teammates are the first filters for candidates. They determine if a candidate is suitable for the interview stage, which is the third step in the application process.
Some of his daily tasks include screening every document the applicants send in. Andrik reviews the resumes, essays, and documents received along with the other screeners. Then they decide which candidates should move forward to the interview stage.
As an expert in what Job Duck expects from the candidates in their documents, Andrik shared some tips for anyone planning to apply. He mentioned that one of the most common mistakes candidates make is not reading the instructions on the documents requested.
“What I would advise everyone is to have attention to detail. You need to really look into the instructions for every document. Rules are really detailed, so if you read them and understand them you will have no issue when you apply.” – Andrik from Honduras
Before the interview concluded, Andrik took the opportunity to encourage everyone looking for a full time remote job to apply for the Job Duck’s available career opportunities.
“Take the chance! It’s a great job! You’ll have a great work-life balance, and that’s the most important thing of all.” – Andrik from Honduras
