We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Jose from Colombia. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Jose, who works remotely from Colombia. Jose’s journey with Job Duck began when he stumbled upon an intriguing Instagram ad. At the time, he was already employed full-time but was captivated by the idea of collaborating with professionals from around the world. So, he decided to follow his curiosity and explore the opportunities that Job Duck had to offer.
Jose’s experience with the application process was nothing short of excellent. He felt well-supported at every step and appreciated having a dedicated guide to assist him throughout.
“I felt like I had the right assistance through each step of the application process, and I felt like it was a very organic process from the moment I sent my essay and other documents to the moment I was told, ‘Hey, you’re going to be working for a firm.” – Jose from Colombia
Working as a Virtual Assistant
Initially applying for the position of Intake Coordinator, Jose now serves as a Virtual Legal Assistant for a U.S.-based law firm. His daily tasks include managing the firm’s calendar, handling client meetings, coordinating with other firms, and keeping a vigilant eye on communication channels such as WhatsApp, text messages, emails, and phone calls. Jose also ensures that invoices and documents are meticulously organized and delivered to clients promptly.
Jose’s overall experience with Job Duck has been exceptional. He even took the time to make an honest recommendation to aspiring virtual assistants.
“This is a ten out of ten experience. Without spoiling too much, I would say go ahead and apply to it. Live it through your own eyes like this overall experience. And if you’re wanting to work remotely, applying to Job Duck is a 100% wise decision.” – Jose from Colombia
