Sharing is caring!
When Dipolelo joined our company, her first impression was that “everyone is super supportive.” However, there is even more to her experience working with Job Duck.
In this Weekly Tea blog, you’ll meet Dipolelo from South Africa as she speaks about her role, life outside of work, and more. Enjoy the read!
Meet Dipolelo
Dipolelo from South Africa is an Intake Specialist working remotely with one of our employers at a U.S.-based law firm. Her main responsibility is screening new potential clients who reach out through the firm’s website for assistance with family law matters.
She contacts each prospective client, asks a few qualifying questions, and if the criteria are met, schedules a consultation with one of the attorneys. Once a client decides to move forward, Dipolelo sends out the required documentation, collects consultation fees, and opens new files.
In addition to her core responsibilities, Dipolelo also supports other departments whenever assistance is needed. This has allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of how the firm operates as a whole.
Experience Working with Job Duck
After learning more about her role, the Weekly Tea host asked Dipolelo about her experience working with Job Duck. Without hesitation, she shared the following:
“This experience has been incredible. It’s my first time working for an international company, and it has been the best role I’ve had so far. The team is supportive, understanding, and genuinely kind. We work well together, and any issues are handled quickly and professionally.”
Dipolelo also explained that the company follows an open-door policy, which allows her to message her manager anytime she needs guidance. “She always responds promptly,” Dipolelo added.
Enjoying Life Outside of Work?
With a better understanding of Dipolelo’s work environment, the conversation then moved to her life outside of work. According to her, work-life balance has been one of the biggest positives of her role.
Because of the time zone difference, she starts later in the day. This gives her time in the mornings to enjoy breakfast, connect with friends or family, run errands, and spend time on her hobbies.
Should You Consider a Career with Job Duck?
As the Weekly Tea interview came to a close, the host asked Dipolelo one final question: would she encourage others to apply for career opportunities with Job Duck? She smiled and responded:
“I would absolutely encourage others to go for it. If you’re looking for a work-from-home role, this is a great place to start. Job Duck is supportive from the interview process through placement with a firm. The experience is smooth, welcoming, and worth it.”
