We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Victor from El Salvador. In this segment, we invite our virtual assistants from all over the world to share their experience of working from home with Job Duck so far.
In this episode, we meet Victor. He has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. He decided to study this in order to understand what people needed and to look for solutions for said needs. Therefore, Victor was looking for job opportunities where he could develop his area of expertise. He found out about Job Duck on a job posting website, took a leap of faith, and applied for the marketing assistant position. Now, Victor has been working with Job Duck for more than a year and a half and happily counting.
Victor was kind enough to share his experience during the application process. He confessed that he got super excited about receiving Job Duck email notifications throughout the process.
“The communication (during the application process) was very fluid. Overall, it was a great experience!” – Victor from El Salvador
As a marketing assistant, some of his daily tasks with the U.S.-based employer include managing all the digital marketing projects, revising how the content is going in paid campaigns, the firm’s newsletters, etc.
As for the experience of working from home, Victor admitted that it was something he always always hoped to do.
“So far, it’s been great! I’m not a big fan of traffic, so not having to commute and wasting 1 or 2 hours of your life on that is great! Also, I feel healthier, nowadays. I get to eat healthier foods, snacks, meals, and everything, so I feel great.” – Victor from El Salvador.
Victor was kind enough to share some last words of encouragement for the people who are still hesitant about applying to the Job Duck job offers.
“It has been a challenge. It’s been great, I’ve developed myself professionally. It’s not the same place where I am compared to where I was at the beginning of last year. I encourage anyone to apply for the Job Duck, it’s a great opportunity. Even though sometimes the process might seem tough, it’s totally worth it.” – Victor from El Salvador
