We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with BJ from South Africa. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet BJ. During the interview, BJ took the time to share her experience as a candidate step-by-step during her application process. Make sure you don’t miss the chance to hear her insights in the full interview video!
BJ also shared her experience adjusting to the work schedule since she works according to the U.S.-based employer’s time zone, like all Job Duck’s virtual assistants do.
“By the end of my first month, I had already got my flow and understood how everything worked. Now I have a perfect balance between work time and other things.” – BJ from South Africa.
BJ was kind enough to share some great tips on how she manages to keep herself productive in a home-based position.
“The one thing I do keep is a notebook. I note everything down because, sometimes, it does happen that you have a thought, and it runs away. So, always have a notebook and water. Stay hydrated.” – BJ from South Africa.
She also recommended viewers that work in a home office to stand up regularly and take a short walk, loosen up the muscles and make sure to keep the energy flowing, which improves focus and creativity.
Before the interview concluded, BJ shared how positive her experience and connection with her Happiness Liaison have been since her work experience. BJ assured that Job Duck’s Happiness Liaisons are always willing to help and super understanding.
“Just apply! It’s worth it.” – BJ from South Africa.
