Weekly Tea with Cristy from Colombia!

We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Cristy from Colombia. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.

In this episode, we meet Cristy, who works remotely from Colombia. She found out about Job Duck while looking for home-based positions on LinkedIn. Cristy mentioned that her application process was very straightforward. When Job Duck was matching Cristy’s profile with a U.S.-based employer, Cristy was kept informed about the matchmaking process.

After successfully completing the application process, Cristy became the virtual administrative assistant of a U.S.-based law firm. Some of her daily tasks include email and calendar management, personal assistance for her boss, and participation in business-related projects within the company. Cristy assured me that her overall work experience has been really positive and that the team is very understanding.

As she explained at the end of the interview, Cristy’s favorite thing about working from home is spending time with her family.

“I have a 6-year-old son, so for me it’s really important to be near him. Even though I am working, it makes a huge difference if I’m able to work at home or if I have to go to an office. That’s the biggest plus for me, being near my son.” – Cristy from Colombia
