We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Fátima from El Salvador. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Fátima, who works remotely from El Salvador. Fátima was initially worried about not getting hired since Job Duck is constantly recruiting from Latin American countries. Even so, she decided to take a leap of faith and start her application process. Fátima described her experience as a candidate to be positively challenging.
“It was extremely worth it. I really wanted to do it, so I went for it!” – Fatima from El Salvador
After successfully completing her application process, Fátima became the virtual administrative assistant of a U.S.-based law firm. Some of her daily tasks include answering calls, sending daily reports for incoming emails, and billing.
“They have taught me a lot of things. I actually learn a lot, and I like it!” – Fátima from El Salvador
Fátima shared that she feels thankful for Job Duck truly taking care of her work experience. She mentioned that she attends periodic meetings with the Job Duck team. In these meetings with her staffer liaison, Fátima discusses her tasks and the U.S.-based team. She assured it was nice to feel listened to.
“I feel really comfortable with the fact that you (Job Duck) listen to me and that you’re always taking care of me. It’s really good to feel that I’m not just another worker, but you actually care if I feel comfortable and happy with the job and everything that I do.” – Fátima from El Salvador
