In this episode, we meet Iveth, who works remotely from Mexico. Iveth applied for the virtual marketing assistant position. After completing the application process, Iveth started working from home for a U.S.-based law firm. The main goal of her position is to manage the brand of the law firm. Some of her daily responsibilities include managing the law firm’s social media, working on email strategies, and working on the firm’s website, among other things.

During the interview, Iveth stressed the feeling of relief and security she feels working from home, especially after her family was affected by the Covid pandemic a few months back. Iveth also stated that she has been able to learn from her challenges at work, receiving support from her boss and colleagues.
“I think the best part about being at home is that I’m not exposing myself nor my family and I’m doing something that I really love. I’m learning a lot of things!” – Iveth from Mexico
