We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Juni from South Africa. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Juni. She applied for the administrative virtual assistant position through LinkedIn. After proving she met all the requirements and successfully completed the application process, she got the job! Juni is now working remotely for a U.S.-based law firm. Her daily tasks include reaching out to new clients and welcoming them to the firm. Juni is also in charge of requesting documents from the clients and filing them.
As you may know, all of our team members work according to the U.S.-based employers’ time zone. So, Juni took the time to share a little bit on how well she has adapted so far to work during her U.S. team’s schedule.
“It’s been great. There’s a time zone difference, so you need to adjust to that prior to your day. I basically work at night, so everything is nice and quiet around. I can focus much more than during the day as well.” – Juni from South Africa.
Juni confirmed in the interview that since she started working with Job Duck, she has achieved a work-life balance.
“I feel much more settled and stable now than I did before. It’s much more calming and comforting, definitely working at home and being in your environment.” – Juni from South Africa.
