We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Matías from Argentina. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Matías, who works remotely from Argentina. Matías described his application process to be a very unique and nurturing experience from the start. He expressed that Job Duck’s process allows the candidates to be themselves throughout every stage.
“Right when I started reading the job advertisement, I knew that there was something different about Job Duck, something that set them apart from other companies in my country.” – Matías from Argentina
After completing his application process successfully, Matías became the administrative assistant of a U.S.-based law firm. Some of his daily tasks include organizing the firm’s calendar, setting up meetings, writing appointments, and communicating with clients. Matías also attends Zoom meetings when needed and is in charge of the emails sent and received.
“It’s working out really well for me, and my boss is really happy as well with my development.” – Matías from Argentina
He mentioned during the interview that he was seeking a home-based position. Matías disliked moving from place to place in his previous job.
“If you live in a big city like I do, it’s really nerve wracking to be on the clock 24/7. Thinking if you’re going to catch the right bus, or if you’re going to make it on time. I was looking for a home office position to have more time for me, and my family” – Matías from Argentina
