We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Palesa from South Africa. In this segment, we invite our virtual assistants from all around the world to share their experience of working from home with Job Duck so far. 

In this episode, we meet Palesa, who is part of the Job Duck’s screener team. She found out about Job Duck through LinkedIn and decided to apply. As a candidate, she confessed she was confused at first, wondering why many things were required. Job Duck is famous for having an unconventional application process. Palesa mentioned that her Job Duck guide was super patient and very helpful, which made the process swift and easy.

Palesa shared with Alina her favorite part about being able to work from home. She emphasized the importance of having a balance between personal life and work and how she believes she has reached that with Job Duck. 

“As I work in the late afternoon, in the morning I can do whatever I need to do. Relax and get into the vibe of the day. Balancing personal life and work life has been awesome. It is amazing.” – Palesa from South Africa

Palesa was also kind enough to share her experience working with the internal Job Duck team, as she is part of the operations department.

“The best. I don’t have words. It has honestly been the best experience. I have never been part of such a very supportive team before. Everyone is just so ready to help. If you don’t understand something, you can feel free to ask because we have a friendship going on. It’s more like family and friends.” – Palesa from South Africa
