In this episode, we meet Stef-Mari. She works in Job Duck’s internal team as a social media intake coordinator in the Operations department. Stef-Mari always wanted to work from home, and with the pandemic, this desire grew stronger.
“I think immediately when I read the job ad, I knew that there was something special about the company.” – Stef-Mari from South Africa
Stef-Mari was kind enough to share her experience as a candidate, applying for a job with Job Duck with Alina. Fortunately, according to her, the application process was fast and smooth.
“It was easy, quick, and very efficient. When I read the application form I thought it was gonna be a very long and stretched-out process. But I think it only took me maybe just a week, the longest, two weeks, for me to actually start working. Once I applied, everything went very quickly. – Stef-Mari from South Africa.
Stef-Mari also shared how living on a farm, surrounded by nature, and being able to work from home was the best choice. She has time to take care of all the animals and enjoy the fresh air. We can definitely call that having a work-life balance!
During the interview, Stef-Mari also emphasized how important it is for her to be able to save money on fuel and maintenance costs. The time that she saves from not having to drive or commute is also a big positive for her. The schedule is not a problem for her, and she has adapted perfectly to the work hours.
