We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Valentina from Colombia. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Valentina, who works remotely from Colombia. Valentina found out about Job Duck through LinkedIn and decided to apply. She described the application process as very interesting, especially the Duck University stage. Valentina also emphasized that the Job Duck guides bring a lot of support and assistance to the candidates throughout the application process.
“I had to be patient because it was kind of long (the process), but the good thing that I would really like to highlight is that you guys (Job Duck) keep us updated weekly, telling us where we are in the application process. That was amazing.” – Valentina from Colombia.
Working as a Virtual Assistant
After completing the application process successfully, Valentina became a Virtual Legal Assistant for a U.S.-based law firm. Her daily tasks include communicating with the clients and requesting them information, documents, and updates. Valentina is also in charge of communicating with medical providers and insurance companies. She’s responsible for updating and organizing all this information in her U.S. employer’s managing system.
Valentina assured me that she has a fantastic work relationship with her boss. As for the overall work environment and day-to-day experience, Valentina also gave very positive feedback.
