Every week we will be uploading a new episode of Weekly Tea! In other words, our new show is where we interview some of our Virtual Assistants so we can share their experiences working from home for a United States-based business with you. You can watch our show on our YouTube Channel, our Facebook Fan Page, or our Instagram TV. Now, without further delay, welcome to our Weekly Tea!
Lucia From Mexico
Our first Weekly Tea! was with Lucia from Mexico. She is 28 years old and works as a Legal Assistant for a law firm based in Hollywood, Florida. She loves working from home because she has more control over her time and has learned so much about teamwork. Some of her daily tasks are calendar management, email gatekeeper, and customer service, among others.
Len From the Philippines
Our second guest was Len from the Philippines, she has worked for Job Duck for more than two years, and she is 40 years old. She was looking for a home-based position and found our company and decided to apply even though she was a little skeptical because of the hiring process. Our hiring process is very selective, and our application process is tough. This is how we find the best of the best and why our team is so happy.
She works as a Virtual Paralegal for a law firm in Miami, Florida. Some of her daily tasks include filing cases, case management, and sending supines, among other administrative tasks.
Rex From the Philippines
Our third guest was Rex from the Philippines, he found Job Duck on JobStreet, a job posting site in his town. He has been working for a law firm in Miami, Florida, as an Administrative Assistant for two and a half years, and he really loves working for Job Duck.
Working from home has given him the opportunity to spend more time with his family. Some of his tasks are email gatekeeping, and processing and organizing files, among others. He has learned how to be independent and resourceful, two qualities we always look on our candidates.
Eduardo From Mexico
Then, we had Eduardo from Mexico. He works as a Marketing Assistant for a law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. There, he writes articles and sends them out as a newsletter for the law firm’s clients. He also manages and creates social media content. He is really detail-oriented and very creative.
Eduardo loves working from home because he doesn’t have to commute, and he has extra time to cook his meals and exercise. He encourages his friends to work for Job Duck because it is a great opportunity to work for and learn from a U.S.-based business and strength English proficiency.
