How Grateful Are You? – The Quiz

Sharing is caring!

Today is World Gratitude Day! It is all about gratitude, appreciation, and expressing our thankfulness to those who make our lives easier. Here at Job Duck, we believe that gratitude plays an important role in the success of our team. Expressing gratitude in the workplace not only boosts our self-esteem and motivates us to take initiative, but it promotes deeper connections with our colleagues! By saying “thank you”, you are letting someone know they are important and of value to you and your company. How grateful are you? In today’s stressful world and rushed environments, showing gratitude is also a huge stress reliever. A case study by researchers at the University of Pennsylvania evidenced that employees are 50% more productive when their employers showed to be appreciated for their hard work and efforts.

Wondering how to become part of this positive movement? Here are a few simple ways to show gratitude in your work environment:

#1 Often say thank you.

#2 Give out small rewards for work well done.

#3 Recognize each other’s efforts.

#4 Be of support. Even when things don’t go as planned, appreciate the amount of effort that was put in.

So today, take a minute or two to just pause and say “Thank you.”

Even though we all will experience a challenging day, it will never last long, and it may be a lesson. Life is too short to stay upset or angry.
