Responsibilities
The responsibilities of a Virtual Case Manager will include scheduling appointments as well as conducting interviews with clients to obtain key facts. You will also be gathering all the relevant documents and other pieces of evidence to build a client’s case.
Furthermore, you will create weekly/monthly reports, including a breakdown of all assigned tasks and the results you come across. Additionally, you will verify insurance documentation and order medical records from providers.
It is crucial to maintain a good relationship with both the clients and providers to make sure that cases are on the move.
Since the documents will be used frequently, you will need to ensure that all the case files are arranged neatly. Moreover, the ideal candidate should be able to read and review documentation to flag any issues. Lastly, you are assured of being trained to operate the firm’s software effectively.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have at least one year of related experience and a bachelor’s degree. One must have advanced/native-level English skills (both written and spoken) since it is an essential requirement while on duty.
You should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while having exceptional organizational skills, multitasking, and paying close attention to detail. Flexibility and adaptability should also be considered some of your greatest strengths, while commitment to confidentiality is just as important.
We are looking for individuals who have the technical know-how and self-assertiveness when it comes to working with various software and tools.
Regarding the requirements, you need a PC or laptop, a good headset, and a fast and stable internet connection of at least 30 Mbps. Lastly, your workplace should be quiet and secluded because it reduces the level of distraction to the bare minimum.
