It feels like it was just yesterday when we opened our virtual doors. We were born in 2018, and this year Job Duck turns 4. The words “happy birthday- happy celebration” are painted on our hearts.
Laughter, tears of joy, and virtual hugs are shared among those working at the Job Duck. It’s an incredible milestone, and we wish for many more:
The Birth of Job Duck
Our founder found inspiration during a lunch meeting. His lunch date had hired a virtual assistant from the other side of the world, and was thrilled with the value he received.
Her English was strong, as well as her work ethic. She enjoyed the perks of working from home and had a higher pay rate than her friends. It seemed like a win-win scenario.
He dedicated months to figuring out how to find, screen, and hire incredible people outside of the United States. But instead of hiring just one person, his first job posting yielded five great people. All of them are incredible and still working at Job Duck.
At that point, he also found someone for his co-founder’s law firm. They both liked the idea so much that together they decided to turn it into a business, and that’s how in 2018, our company was officially born!
Our Accomplishments
As each year passed, through hard work and dedication, we accomplished incredible milestones. None of these accomplishments would’ve been possible without our amazing virtual assistants.
At the time of writing this blog, almost 78,500 people had applied for our job openings. We have hired 586 staffers from Argentina, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, the Philippines, and South Africa.
Job Duck has almost 120K followers across all social media platforms. And we have been certified as a Great Place To Work!
