We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Alberto from Mexico. In this segment, we invite our virtual assistants from all over the world to share their experience of working from home with Job Duck so far.
In this episode, we meet Alberto. He went to Film School and is a graduate of 3D Motion Graphics. Alberto was a freelance designer before. Now he’s working with Job Duck. Someone very close to Alberto referred to Job Duck, and now, they’re both part of the team!
Alberto describes his experience of the application process as smooth.
“You gotta pay close attention. To be honest, there’s a lot that’s depending on you and you gotta be making sure that you’re delivering. The only way to deliver is paying close attention to the details.” – Alberto from Mexico
Alberto shared with Alina that he had initially applied for the marketing assistant position. Unfortunately, there were no open marketing assistant positions at the time. So Job Duck’s team offered him the administrative assistant position. Alberto confessed to being a little hesitant at the beginning due to his lack of experience in the administrative area. He took a leap of faith, and Alberto now works as a virtual administrative assistant for a U.S.-based law firm.
“It’s been quite a ride. It’s been a challenge and I really appreciate the opportunity to learn something that’s completely outside of the scope of my practice area.” – Alberto from Mexico
Alberto was kind enough to share a little about his incredible experience of working with his U.S. employer. He assured Alina that it has been an enriching experience and that he has learned a lot.
