Meet Allisson
One day, Allisson browsed through LinkedIn hoping to find a new career opportunity. After scrolling through all the available job postings, one role stood out—an opportunity offered by Job Duck. As much as Allisson was excited, doubts started to creep in, as she wasn’t sure if she would pass our application process. Ultimately, she kicked her fears out the window, stepped forward, and applied.
Fast forward to today, Allisson is proud of her career as a legal assistant, working remotely at an immigration law firm with one of our U.S.-based clients. She uses her bilingual skills to reach out to Portuguese- and English-speaking clients to gather more information on their cases. Additionally, she follows up on cases, completes forms, and assembles application and interview packets.
Some of the software Allisson works with includes MyCase and Adobe Acrobat. During the interview, she mentioned that once you switch to the premium versions, “there are so many more tools that you can use.”
