We’re excited to share our new Weekly Tea with Andrea from Mexico. In this segment, we invite Job Duck’s virtual assistants to share their experiences of working from home with us.
Getting to Know Andrea
Andrea works remotely as an administrative assistant for a U.S.-based business that exports textiles and clothing to Latin America. She spends most of her day communicating with clients, suppliers, and carriers. Andrea also plays a huge role in handling booking requests with forwarders and coordinates the transportation of two to five containers weekly to various destinations within Latin America and across the U.S.
A Positive Work Experience
When asked about her experience working with a U.S.-based exporting company, Andrea smiled and said, “It is a really good experience.” She is proud of the knowledge she gained while working with Job Duck. Moreover, Andrea shines in maintaining relationships and ensuring client and supplier satisfaction.
“Most of our suppliers and carriers are from the U.S., so I have to manage and switch up a lot between Spanish and English, but still, it helps to keep me moving, to keep me on top of things.” – Andrea from Mexico
Finding Balance at Job Duck
Andrea appreciates the work-life balance that comes with working from home with Job Duck. She can enjoy her hobbies by watching different movies or series she likes, spending a lot of time with her friends and family, and taking care of her bunny pet. We’re happy to hear that Andrea enjoys her time away from work!
“It is amazing the amount of time I have after I turn the laptop off.” – Andrea from Mexico
