We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Cristina from El Salvador. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Cristina, who works remotely from El Salvador. Cristina was referred to Job Duck by a close friend. While she was completing the stages of her application process, Cristina understood that it wasn’t about telling us what she could do but rather showing us what she could do. Actions truly speak louder than words.
Working as a Virtual Assistant
After successfully completing the application process, Cristina became a virtual assistant for a U.S.-based law firm. After her probationary period, Cristina was promoted to a new position: paralegal assistant. Her main task includes drafting documents for different clients the firm has.
In terms of her overall work experience, Cristina shared that working from home saves her time both because she does not have to commute and because coordinating with her team is easier.
“Working from home for me has been a blessing. I love it!” – Cristina from El Salvador
Cristina shared that working remotely from a different country has not interfered with the communication between her and the team in the U.S. They’ve managed to work efficiently and effectively with the online processes. She also has a positive working relationship with her boss and colleagues, and they’ve all been super supportive.
“My boss is great. I love her, she’s really nice!” – Cristina from El Salvador
