We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Gail from South Africa. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Gail. After applying and successfully completing her application process with Job Duck, she became the virtual administrative assistant of a U.S.-based family law firm. Among her daily duties are calling leads and formal clients, as well as filling out documents related to the firm’s administrative department.
Gail was kind enough to share her experience as a candidate during the application process with Job Duck. She confessed to being nervous about it because she really needed the job, but Gail started to feel more confident once she started the process. She assured that she received amazing help and support from her guide along the way.
“The process was so quick and so easy. I was so impressed with how I was given guidance every step of the way. I knew exactly what was required of me. There was so much assistance along the way. I could ask questions, and I would get an answer almost immediately.” – Gail from South Africa
The “working from home” experience was also approached during the interview. Gail shared that she was fascinated by the opportunity of being able to work remotely. She is able to maintain a good work-life balance through this, which is something we believe everyone should do.
“So far, I’m absolutely loving working from home. I can’t see myself going back to work in a central office. It’s opened up so much extra time for my hobbies and my family. I love it.” – Gail from South Africa
