We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Malena from Argentina. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Malena, who works remotely from Argentina. After finding out about Job Duck through a close friend, she decided to apply for the Virtual Administrative Assistant position. Even though the application process was different from the ones she’s experienced in her job search, Malena described it as an excellent one.
“In the process, you get to find out more about your value as a candidate. So when you get to the point to meet the client, you are very confident with yourself and with what you can offer.” – Malena from Argentina
After successfully completing the application process, Malena became the case manager at a U.S.-based law firm. Her position mainly consists of making sure the process of every case is going smoothly to reach a favorable outcome.
Some of her daily tasks include reviewing, editing, and forwarding legal documents. Also, she is in charge of making phone calls to clients and insurance companies to request important documentation. Malena organizes and updates all the important documentation as well.
Almost at the end of the interview, Malena took the opportunity to share some valuable recommendations.
“You should definitely be organized. Also, you should have a lot of attention to detail, because you’re working with very sensitive information. Don’t be afraid to ask questions! Remember you’re learning.” – Malena from Argentina
