We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Mariana from Mexico. In this segment, we invite our virtual assistants from all around the world to share their experience of working from home with Job Duck so far.
In this episode, we meet Mariana, who works as a virtual marketing assistant for a U.S.-based law firm. Mariana found out about Job Duck on a job search website. She considers the application form to be long but also very complete. She assured the form explained exactly what was expected from her with regard to the position.
Some of her daily tasks include creating social media content and some community manager tasks as well. Mariana is also the main point of contact with marketing vendors. She also handles client follow-ups, sending videos, emails, and infographics.
Mariana was kind enough to share her favorite things about being in a home-based position with Job Duck.
“Given the context of the pandemic, for me, it was a huge relief to be able to be safe, and not getting exposed to potentially getting the virus. And also, that I can have more time for myself. Working from home, I have more time to get ready in the morning, eat breakfast. They are very respectful of my schedule.” – Mariana from Mexico
