We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Mario from Mexico. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Mario, who works remotely from Mexico. Mario found out about Job Duck through social media, and decided to start his application process via Facebook. He liked how the application process works at Job Duck. Mario mentioned that the level of detail needed in every stage it’s what actually makes it so interesting.

After successfully completing the process, Mario became a virtual marketing assistant for a law firm based in the U.S. Some of his daily tasks include requesting documentation from clients, preparing medical reports, checking balances, and making phone calls, among other things. He’s also currently working with Microsoft Excel to generate reports to keep track of the paralegal’s performance. According to Mario, he handles a wide range of tasks from time to time that keeps his agenda varied.

During the interview, Mario took the time to share his thoughts regarding the overall work experience. The experience so far has been positive, and he is happy to have made the change.
“It’s great. For me, it was a big challenge getting out of my comfort zone. I was a teacher for my whole professional career, and this is completely different. It’s scary at the beginning, but if you enjoy challenges, this is a great opportunity.” – Mario from Mexico
