We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Stephen from Mexico. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Stephen, who works remotely from Mexico. A job site called OCC led Stephen to Job Duck while looking for Marketing-related jobs. He was initially attracted by Job Duck’s core values, so he decided to start his application process. Stephen expressed receiving support from the Job Duck team, not only when he was a candidate, but also after he got hired.
“It was great. Everyone I interacted with from Job Duck was very helpful, friendly, and always available, not only during the application process, but also until today. They’ve always been helpful and very friendly. I got no complaints.” – Stephen from Mexico
Working as a Virtual Assistant.
Upon completing his application process successfully, Stephen was hired as a virtual marketing coordinator in a U.S.-based marketing agency. His main role is to generate leads for the agency. Because of this, some of his daily tasks include implementing marketing tactics for inbound marketing, email marketing, and social media. Stephen also designs and creates content for the agency’s social media.
Stephen described the overall work experience as very positive. His experience working with the U.S.-based agency has been excellent. Stephen assured me that all the colleagues have been extremely welcoming.
“I’m very happy. They’ve given me freedom to explore and to implement the knowledge that I already have. That has helped me develop my marketing skills and learn more things.” – Stephen from Mexico
As the interview came to an end, Stephen embraced the importance of having more time to spend with loved ones and practicing hobbies when working from home.
“At least for me, time is the most valuable thing you have in life.” – Stephen from Mexico
