We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Tasmyn from South Africa. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Tasmyn. She was hunting for home-based jobs for quite a while until she came across one of Job Duck’s Facebook Ads. Tasmyn read the full job offer and decided to follow Job Duck on every social media channel for more information. She finally decided to apply for the administrative assistant position. Now she is currently working for a U.S.-based law firm.
Some of her daily tasks include drafting letters and assisting with some legal documents and forms. Additionally, Tasmyn is responsible for attending webinars and preparing follow-up reports. Furthermore, Tasmyn helps with meta-billing and processing payments for the law firm.
Tasmyn was kind enough to share her experiences as a virtual administrative assistant with a U.S.-based team.
“It’s been a great experience so far. I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s very pleasant, and everyone at Job Duck has been very helpful.” – Tasmyn from South Africa.
During the interview, Tasmyn gave viewers some tips on how to remain productive at home, especially if they work from home themselves.
“One of the most important things is to set tasks for yourself and schedule a time for them. So that you keep yourself on track, also, keep a nice, neat working area so you can stay focused on your tasks at hand.” – Tasmyn from South Africa.
