In this episode, we meet Zary, who works remotely from Colombia. Zary was looking for a home-based job and came across one of Job Duck’s Facebook posts. After reviewing the website and Facebook page, she decided to start her application process.
Working as a Virtual Assistant
After completing the application process successfully, Zary became a Virtual Legal Assistant for a U.S.-based law firm. Some of her daily tasks include scheduling Zoom meetings with clients, taking notes during those meetings, and communicating with clients through emails or phone calls. Zary is also in charge of updating admin sheets, translating documents, and preparing documentation.
As for her overall work experience, Zary shared positive feedback regarding the working relationship with her team in the U.S. She assured that the legal field was something new to her. Still, she’s been able to learn a lot, and her team has been very supportive.
“It’s been so nice! Even if you’re working remotely from another country, you feel like part of a company, part of a family.” – Zary from Colombia.
