Nobody likes surprises, so if you are experiencing challenges in your tasks, you better report them. It will also appreciate if you keep them updated on your progress on important projects, so they do not have to micromanage.
Exceed your boss’s expectations. Do not make promises you can’t keep, and always deliver more than expected. For example, if you’re doing a task, be sure to provide a realistic deadline, but surprise your boss by turning it in early.
Finally, never disrespect your bosses; they are in the position they are in for a reason, and although you may not like them, they are your superiors.
