We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Andrés from Mexico. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Andrés. Through LinkedIn, he learned about Job Duck and decided to apply for the virtual marketing assistant position. Andrés became one of the video coordinators on Job Duck’s internal marketing team.
As a video coordinator, Andrés is in charge of everything related to video. He works closely with the internal Graphic Designer and the Social Media Coordinator in order to create engaging content for the company.
During the interview, Andrés was kind enough to share some details about his experience as a candidate during the application process. Andrés called it a fast and awesome application process.
“Before this job, I was applying to a couple other different positions, and they were taking a lot of time to get back to me. With Job Duck it was different because everything was done very professionally and fast. All the people I talked to were very nice and professional as well. It was a great experience for me.” – Andrés from México
Andrés shared that he has enjoyed the work environment. He assured that his coworkers support him whenever he needs help and that he feels comfortable with the team.
“It’s as if we were working in person, and not remotely. During office hours it is a great team to work with. Everyone is always willing to help each other, even if it’s different departments. The overall experience has been great for me.” – Andrés from Mexico
Right before the interview concluded, Andrés expressed that since he started working at home with Job Duck, he’s reached a work-life balance.
“I’ve achieved a balance by working from home. I personally like it better, I think I’m more efficient this way. We just work faster and better.” – Andrés from Mexico
