We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Daniela from Mexico. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Daniela, who works remotely from Mexico. Daniela was looking for a remote job when she found out about Job Duck. She decided to apply for the virtual administrative assistant position. She described her experience during the application process as a set of steps that made sense and worked together to achieve the ultimate goal: selecting the perfect candidate for the position.
“It was a long process, but I felt that everything was there for a reason. At the end, when I put all the pieces together, it all made sense. It’s good because it shows you that you really want to be there. Otherwise, you wouldn’t take the time to do the steps Job Duck asks you to do.” – Daniela from Mexico
After successfully completing the application process, Daniela became the virtual administrative assistant of a U.S.-based law firm. Some of her daily tasks include sending emails, attending meetings, and setting up appointments, and reminders, among other things. Daniela expressed how supportive her team has been as they have taught her how to use various platforms and systems.
“The team is great. They’re really comprehensive and patient. I feel like I’m useful now, and that makes me feel great.” – Daniela from Mexico
At the end of the interview, Daniela shared that one of the things she loves the most is being able to have a work-life balance because the U.S.-based firm respects her schedule and working hours.
“I work during my work hours, but then when time’s up, nobody is calling me after hours. I don’t have to get out of my personal things to get some job things done, and I really appreciate that because it gives me the chance to do other activities after hours.” – Daniela from Mexico
