We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Jane from South Africa. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Jane, who works remotely from South Africa. Jane found out about Job Duck on LinkedIn. She described her application process as being quick and fun. Jane was also glad to receive a lot of support from her guide, especially before her interviews with Job Duck and the U.S.-based employer.

Jane gave several tips and recommendations for the interview stage of the application process. She recalled consulting the interview resource section on Job Duck’s website. Jane also listened to all the recommendations her staffer liaison gave her and gathered information about the U.S.-based employer that was going to interview her.

After successfully completing the application process, Jane started working for the U.S.-based firm. Some of her daily tasks include managing the reception desk, handling emails from clients, and proofreading legal documentation. Jane was happy to share some words about her positive work experience.

Jane also emphasized how grateful she is for being able to learn each and every day about the culture of the firm she’s working with. She assured me that the experience has been enriching and purely positive.

Times have changed post-pandemic and working from the comfort of your own home, saving hours per week commuting whilst still maintaining and enjoying socializing and building connections with your colleagues is the new corporate dream. I think it’s awesome that Jane can do all the above and more, working for Job Duck. The company seems to have transformed lives.
