We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Jane from South Africa. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants from all over the world to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck. 

In this episode, we meet Jane, who works remotely from South Africa. During her search for a home-based job, Jane came across Job Duck via LinkedIn. Jane decided to apply for the administrative assistant position after carefully reading the job description. 

After successfully completing the application process, Jane began working remotely for a U.S. law firm. Her daily tasks include working with the phone and making follow-ups with the firm’s clients. 

“It is quite different when you work for a U.S.-based company. You start to learn a few things, you grow your skills, and it expands beyond what you know in your home country.” – Jane from South Africa

Jane described her overall work experience to be positive, enriching, and insightful since she has been able to learn new things each day.

Toward the end of the interview, Jane took the opportunity to share some last words of encouragement for the people who are currently looking for a job and are interested in Job Duck’s career growth opportunities.
