We are excited to share with you our brand-new Weekly Tea with Sam from Mexico. In this segment, we invite our virtual assistants from all around the world to share their experience working from home with Job Duck so far.
In this episode, Valery interviews Sam from Mexico. She is Job Duck’s Wiki Master! As the Wiki Master, Sam oversees everything that has to do with the company’s policies and procedures. Sam makes sure that all the virtual assistants know their rights, what they can and can’t do. She also helps virtual assistants understand the company culture better. Sam personally edits and proofreads all this information to make sure everything is running smoothly.
This is Sam’s first time working from home. She actually wanted this kind of position (home-based) for a long time until she finally found Job Duck! Sam shared that she was looking for something along the lines of a call center or anywhere that would allow her to work from home. She saw a bunch of opportunities, but they were not good. The office hours were really long, she had to work during the weekends, and the pay was not good. But because of that search, a few ads from Job Duck popped up on her Facebook feed. Long story short, that’s how she found us.
Sam was kind enough to share her favorite things about working from home. They wound up being all related to the freedom you get when you work in a home-based position.
“I like the freedom that it gives me. Honestly, there are many things I like about my own space, and having the opportunity to feel free and be myself is great. You can have your workspace designed the way that you like it.” – Sam from Mexico
Before the end of the interview, Sam shared some encouraging words for the people who are still hesitant to apply for the available Job Duck positions.
“Please apply! You won’t regret it. Some people may feel like the application process is really hard or that it would take too much of their time, but it is 100% worth it! This is one of the best job opportunities you’re going to get. It is worth all the steps that you have to take, and it is really not that difficult. Once you achieve the goal of this amazing and incredible job, then it is going to feel great.” – Sam from Mexico
