We are a young job agency, and this year we will be celebrating our third anniversary. Looking back, it is unbelievable that everything started with only five incredible people, and now, we have grown to over 250! Despite being a young company, we have noticed that some of our followers don’t know what kind of career opportunities we offer or the type of company we are. Therefore, throughout this blog entry, we want to answer the question: What is Job Duck?

We are more than just a job agency, an outsourcing business, or a staffing company. We are a team, an innovation factory, a lifestyle, and, among our company, you will find friends, team players, mentors, and supporters.

A Short Story

We are one of the fastest-growing staffing companies in the world. However, a couple of years ago, this company started as nothing more than a mere idea. This idea was born over lunch! One of our co-founders was talking about the virtual assistant his lunch date had hired. This virtual assistant (from the other side of the world) with a strong work ethic and good English was an invaluable asset to the company. On the other hand, she enjoyed working from home and had a higher pay rate than her friends. It seemed like a win-win scenario!

Therefore, our cofounder dedicated months to designing and testing a process to find, screen, and hire incredible people outside the United States. Our co-founders liked the outcome so much that they decided to partner up and turn this into a business. In 2018 the Job Duck was officially born, and the rest is history!

Answering your questions

Is this company a call center, or is it a scam?

Well, we are neither. As we said before, we are a recruitment agency, and we rely on outsourcing since it helps us find incredible people from foreign countries, and we believe that diversity is enriching. We hire people from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras, and Mexico. Due to logistics, we are limited to the aforementioned countries, but we are striving to expand our horizons. We hire Virtual Assistants to work from home for appreciative employers in the US. The duties and responsibilities you will perform will depend on the chosen job opening. Right now, we have seven different virtual positions available!

Regarding the scam suspicions:

If you apply to Job Duck, we will never charge any fee for our services.
We always get back to our candidates through WhatsApp or email (our emails end with: @jobduck.com).
Personal information is only asked when we need it to provide a service to you. It can be for analytics purposes or to check if your profile matches our needs.
We do not share any personally identifying information publicly or with third parties except when required by law.
We protect the data we store within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.

Furthermore, we want you to feel safe! If someone contacts you using our name, but you find it suspicious, you can send a message to [email protected] with the screenshot attached. We will let you know whether it is genuine or not. Keep in mind that we will not contact you unless you have applied beforehand.

If I apply to Job Duck, is it 100% certain I am getting a job?

Applying for Job Duck is just like applying for any other job. Therefore, it is not absolutely certain that you will get the job simply because you applied. The only way to know for sure you are getting the job is by being qualified with either experience or a degree and successfully passing each stage of our process (including the second interview, stage 9, with a potential employer):

Additionally, we ask you to sign a contract before beginning your matchmaking process to know if you are comfortable and agree with our terms and conditions. Therefore, to be clear, the fact that you sign our contract or get a computer doesn’t guarantee you’ll get the job.
