We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Marcela from El Salvador. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Marcela, who works remotely from El Salvador. Marcela stumbled upon Job Duck through a Facebook ad that caught her eye. Intrigued, she decided to dig deeper and find out more. It was during this exploration that Marcela discovered ‘The Weekly Tea’ videos, which turned out to be incredibly helpful in navigating all the available information.
As for the application process, Marcela gave positive feedback and assured me she felt super supported by her Job Duck guide.
“The application process was a nice experience overall. I received all the information I needed, and one aspect I truly appreciated was having a dedicated point of contact. It made me feel like they genuinely cared about my journey, even though it took a bit longer than expected. But, I must say, it was totally worth it.” – Marcela from El Salvador.
Working as a Virtual Assistant
Marcela initially applied for the Intake Specialist position, but she’s currently working as a Legal Assistant for a U.S.-based firm. Marcela’s daily tasks vary, but her core responsibilities include saving and organizing files, editing and sending legal documents, making follow-ups with clients, and handling documentation requests.
As for the overall work experience, Marcela enthusiastically shared that working remotely with her coworkers and boss in the U.S. has been the experience of a lifetime.
“I feel extremely comfortable with my team. It’s been the best work environment I’ve ever had. Despite not being in the same physical space, I’ve been able to develop strong relationships with everyone on my team. They’ve been incredibly understanding and supportive right from day one.” – Marcela from El Salvador.
