In this episode, we meet Mau. He found out about Job Duck through LinkedIn. Mau confessed that the job description really caught his eye and motivated him to apply. Having a graphic designer background, Mau knew that the Marketing Assistant position was the one for him.
His application process took approximately one month. Mau affirms that the Job Duck team kept in close contact throughout the process.

After successfully completing the application process, Mau became the Marketing assistant of a U.S.-based firm. Some of his daily tasks include designing marketing material, like guidebooks, magazine ads, and posts for social media. Mau also manages the firm’s social media and email marketing activities.
During the interview, Mau took the time to share a little about her positive experience working with a U.S.-based team.
“My experience working with Americans so far has been really great. From the very first day, I had the chance to meet every single person in the team, and they were very welcoming. That is something that I really appreciated.” – Mau from El Salvador
Mau mentioned that the team he works with in the U.S. has a very structured and organized way of working. He said he has been working on learning these skills and traits. Mau believes these skills will help him in his professional career and personal life.
