We are excited to share our brand-new Weekly Tea with Yosselin from Honduras. In this segment, we invite Job Duck virtual assistants to tell us what it’s like to work from home with Job Duck.
In this episode, we meet Yosselin, who works remotely from Honduras. Yosselin found out about Job Duck through a LinkedIn post. After carefully reading the job description and making sure she matched the requirements, she decided to apply. During the application process, Yosselin was always supported by her guide and Staffer Liaison, which made the whole experience positive and smooth.
“It was a great experience. It does take several steps. However, you are always updated on everything. The Job Duck team tries to get back to you if you have any questions, which is great because it really develops a sense of trust and reliance in the entire process, which is exactly what a candidate needs in this type of circumstances.” – Yosselin from Honduras.
Working as a Virtual Assistant
After completing the application process successfully, Yosselin became a Virtual Administrative Assistant for a U.S.-based law firm. Some of her daily tasks include scheduling calls and meetings with clients or attendees and preparing an agenda for them. Yosselin is also in charge of compiling all the necessary documents to create new client folders or close old client folders. It is her responsibility to constantly update the firm’s platform with any new movements regarding client matters.
As for her overall work experience, Yosselin mentioned that she has felt part of the U.S. team since she first started working remotely with them. Yosselin enjoys a fantastic working environment and feels as if she is working close to them, even though they are miles away from each other. Location and distance have not been communication barriers. In fact, her work relationship with her coworkers and boss in the U.S. is very strong and professional.
“The experience has been amazing and unique. Everyone was so welcoming since day one and very supportive at all times. They very much appreciate your work and effort.”
